Mahindra XEV 9e: Bold New Design

The Mahindra XEV 9e brings a fresh, modern design language that sets it apart from other electric SUVs in the market. While initially speculated to be an electrified version of the XUV700, the design of the XEV 9e proves otherwise. The front fascia features a triangular headlamp cluster flanked by LED DRLs, which span the width of the SUV. Above the DRLs sits the brand’s new logo, giving the front end a bold and futuristic look.
A unique unbroken line runs from the front end to the rear of the vehicle, merging seamlessly with the boot and giving it a coupe-like appearance. This line is complemented by a dipping roofline, further enhancing its sporty look. Additionally, the XEV 9e is equipped with 19-inch alloy wheels, designed to match the SUV’s dynamic style.
At 4,789 mm in length and a ground clearance of 207 mm, the XEV 9e is built to handle both urban and off-road conditions. The SUV also features a 195L frunk and 663L trunk space, ensuring ample storage for both short and long trips.
Mahindra XEV 9e: Cabin & Features

Step inside the XEV 9e, and you’ll be greeted by a spacious cabin with a cutting-edge tech setup. Thanks to the underfloor battery pack, the cabin offers ample legroom and headspace. Mahindra has loaded the XEV 9e with a three-screen setup that spans an impressive 110 cm across the dashboard, giving the cabin a futuristic feel. The two-spoke wheel with an illuminated logo (similar to the one used on the BE 6e) adds to the premium feel of the interior.
The tech features in the Mahindra XEV 9e are impressive, with 5 screens in total. The SUV includes a host of convenience features, such as an air purifier, a sunroof with UV ray blocker, a Harman Kardon music system with Dolby Atmos, and 5G internet connectivity. It also comes with connected car features and built-in Amazon Alexa, allowing you to control various aspects of the vehicle remotely.
In terms of comfort, the XEV 9e offers 60:40 split seats in the second row, telescopic and tilt adjustment for the steering, and a cooled console for added convenience.
Mahindra XEV 9e: Safety

Safety is a top priority for Mahindra, and the XEV 9e is equipped with Level 2+ ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance System), ensuring enhanced safety for both the driver and passengers. It also comes with Secure360, a feature that allows you to monitor the vehicle via your mobile phone. Mahindra XEV 9e: Powertrain & Range

Under the hood, the Mahindra XEV 9e is powered by a 79 kWh battery pack, which delivers an ARAI-certified range of 659 km on a single charge. In real-world conditions, the range exceeds 500 km, making it a reliable option for both city commutes and long road trips.
The battery powers an electric motor that produces 286 bhp of power and 380 Nm of peak torque. This allows the XEV 9e to accelerate from 0-100 km/h in just 6.8 seconds, offering a smooth yet powerful driving experience.
